15,000 tonnes of paddy procured in Nellore so far, says Nadendla

Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar ensures efficient paddy procurement process in SPSR Nellore district with AI technology.
Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar, during a discussion with the local Ministers and MLAs, on Tuesday, said that the State Government has procured more than 15,000 tonnes of paddy in SPSR Nellore district so far.
He assured the farmers that complete procuerement of paddy would be done and the money would be deposited into their accounts within 24 hours of the procurement.
The Civil Supplies Minister said that the procurement will be continued through Rythu Seva Kendra (RSK) centres and that he will discuss with the millers and take steps to ensure that the process is done in a controlled manner.
The Minister further said that paddy with a moisture content of 17-20 % will also be procured from the farmers.
He informed that the paddy procurement is made easier through artificial intelligence. “Now, the paddy farmers can get the sales details by sending the message “Hi” to 7337359375,” he said.
MA&UD Minister Ponguru Narayana, Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanti Reddy and others were present in the meeting held in the Assembly chambers of Mr. Manohar.
