Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Tuesday stood at 114.25 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 feet) with nil inflow and a discharge of 344 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 59.84 ft. (71 ft.) with nil inflow and a discharge of 722 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 2,757.83 mcft.
