Visakhapatnam gets a snow-themed amusement park

Visakhapatnam introduces first 'Snow Station' amusement park, attracting visitors of all ages for adventure and entertainment activities.
In a first of its kind, Visakhapatnam now gets a ‘Snow Station’, a snow-themed amusement park at Viswanadha Sports Club (VSC), at Akkayyapalem. As per the management of the club, this is the first snow station in the State.
Chairperson of Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) Madhaiyan Angamuthu inaugurated the amusement park here on Friday.
Speaking during the programme, Mr. Angamuthu said that the ‘Snow Station’ will be a unique one and make Visakhapatnam a best destination for adventure sports and entertainment activities. This amusement station will not only attract children, but also people from all ages, he said.
He also said that around 5,000 people from various parts of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Chattisgarh have been visiting the port stadium and enjoying various sport activities there on a daily basis.
A good number of people have visited the snow station on the first day. People took selfies, made videos and exchanged them on the social media. The VSC management expects the visitors turnout to increase on weekends.
