While no COVID-19 death was reported in the Union Territory, 60 new cases were detected on Tuesday. Puducherry accounted for 36 of the new cases, which were confirmed from 3,269 tests, followed by Karaikal (2), Yanam (2) and Mahe (20). The test positivity rate was 1.84%, case fatality rate 1.47% and recovery rate 97.83%.
