'This Is What I F**king Hate About The Left': Bill Maher Pops Off On Political Tribalism

On his "Club Random" podcast, the comedian ranted about people who cut off their family members "if they voted for the wrong guy."
Comedian Bill Maher is unleashing some harsh criticism of “the left.”
On Sunday’s episode of his “Club Random” podcast, Maher spoke with guest Jay Leno about Sammy Davis Jr., with Leno saying the singer faced blowback over his connection to Richard Nixon during the Republican’s presidential administration.
The former “Tonight Show” host said Davis was “seen as a traitor” after appearing with Nixon, prompting Maher to reflect on America’s current political climate.
“Today we live in this time when you’re not allowed to have friends from the other side or cross lines politically, and I forgot that there’s an example of that way back when,” he said.
To some, this is considered “the worst thing you could ever do,” suggested Maher, who’s previously said his work aims to not be “tribal” despite the country’s divided politics.
