The singer shut down the Baltimore vs. Houston game, with the internet deeming the event the “Beyoncé Bowl.”
Beyoncé had everyone saying Amen after she took the stage for the halftime show during the Texans-Ravens NFL game.
On Wednesday, the singer rang in the Christmas holiday by performing hits from her country album “Cowboy Carter” at the NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
Naturally, Beyoncé kicked off her set Texas-style by entering the stadium atop a white horse as she performed “16 Carriages” and her Beatles “Blackbiird” cover, in which she was joined by country singers Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts.
Donning an oversized white fur coat and matching cowboy hat, the musician dreamily rode the horse past a stream of brightly lit cars before hitting the field with an army of all-white-clad dancers and the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul marching band.
Beyoncé went on to sing other tunes from the 11-time Grammy-nominated album, including “Ya Ya” and “Jolene.”
