John Reardon also co-stars with a German shepherd in the Canadian police drama "Hudson & Rex."
John Reardon, who starred in the Hallmark Channel’s recent “Believe In Christmas” movie and other holiday films, said Tuesday he has been recovering from tonsil cancer.
Reardon, who also plays a cop partnered with a dog on Canadian TV’s “Hudson & Rex,” posted a recent photo of himself in apparent good health and one of him in the hospital to make a point on his Instagram.
“Last night was my first night out after my recovery from tonsil cancer. Has been a long road between these two pictures and the difference is from the love and support I received from my people in my life,” he wrote.
Reardon thanked his wife Meghan Ory (who was also his “Believe in Christmas” co-star) “for taking on our whole world to help me get better. My brave kids who inspired me.”
Reardon also thanked his parents and siblings for their support on days “it was hard for me to get out of bed” and their help with “the challenges of life when I couldn’t.”
