Telangana aims to lead in AI with proposed AI City near Hyderabad, inviting Queensland to invest in collaboration opportunities.
Telangana is poised to redefine the future of Artificial Intelligence with the AI City the State government has proposed near Hyderabad, IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu told a visiting delegation from Queensland on Monday.
The Minister invited the Queensland government to invest in the transformative initiative, his office said in a release on the meeting with delegation led by Queensland’s Finance, Trade, Employment and Training Minister Rosin Bates. The discussion centred on strengthening Telangana-Queensland ties across key sectors, unlocking opportunities for collaboration.
Mr. Sridhar Babu briefed the delegation members about the proposed Life Sciences University. The talks also covered the establishment of Telangana’s Sports University. The Queensland delegation expressed keen interest in forging strategic partnerships. Both sides agreed to explore joint efforts in education, research and development and agriculture at an international scale, the Minister’s office said.
Queensland Trade and Investment CEO Justin McGowan, Australian Consul General in Bengaluru Hilary McGeachy and Consul Andrea Callister were part of the delegation.
