Telangana CM Revanth Reddy meets Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in Hyderabad
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in Hyderabad on Monday (December 30, 2024) afternoon. The Chief Minister was accompanied by IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and others.
Hyderabad-born Mr. Nadella, who was in the city, has recently participated in the centenary celebrations at his alma mater Hyderabad Public School.
In a meeting with representatives of the global giant a few months ago, the IT Minister requested them to complete expansion of their data centres near the city by the end of 2025.
The Madras High Court on Thursday (January 2, 2025) refused to interfere with the conviction and one-month simple imprisonment imposed by a trial court in February 2024 against actor S.Ve. Shekher in a case booked in 2018 for having shared a Facebook post containing derogatory remarks against women journalists.
