The fourth annual Chennai Flower Show, complete with roses, petunias, marigolds, and delphiniums, was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at Semmozhi Poonga on Cathedral Road in Chennai on Thursday (January 2, 2025).

Visitors can attend the flower show between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on all days until January 18, 2025. Entry tickets are priced at ₹200 per person for those above 12 years of age and ₹100 per person for those between five and 11 years of age. Those carrying still cameras would be charged ₹500 per camera and ₹5,000 for a video camera. Tickets could be obtained online at: https://tnhorticulture.in/spetickets/
Ministers Duraimurugan, M.R.K. Panneerselvam, and P.K. Sekarbabu; Chennai Mayor R. Priya; MPs Dayanidhi Maran and Thamizhachi Thangapandian; legislators Dha. Velu and N. Ezhilan; Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, and senior officials were also present at the inauguration.
The Tamil Nadu government introduced the annual flower show in Chennai in the year 2022. The three-day flower show held at Kalaivanar Arangam between June 3 and 5, 2022, saw over 44,800 visitors. The second edition of the show held at Semmozhi Poonga in June 2023 had over 23,300 visitors.
In 2024, the Chennai Flower Show was held for 11 days between February 10 and 20, which witnessed over 1.09 lakh visitors.
