Telangana State Cabinet approves government job for Paralympic bronze medalist Deepthi Jeevanji, along with other sports incentives.
Telangana State Cabinet has approved a government job for Deepthi Jeevanji, the champion para-athlete from the State who won the bronze medal in the T20 category race in the Paris Paralympics. The decision was taken at the State Cabinet meeting held on Thursday (March 6, 2025). Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in February announced ₹1 crore cash incentive, land and Group-II job for Ms. Deepthi.
The government has earlier announced cash incentives to G.Trisha, Dhruthi Kesari, cricket players from the State. Besides, the government announced government jobs to cricket player Md. Siraj and boxer Nikhat Zareen, who have assumed posts in the Telangana police department.
