Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor gears up for Dhoom 4 and epic Ramayana after Love and War
Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is set to rev up his career as he takes the lead in the much-anticipated Dhoom 4. Reports confirm that the actor, currently filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War in Mumbai, will begin shooting for the action-packed thriller in April next year.
Kapoor will sport a brand-new look for Dhoom 4, marking a fresh chapter in the iconic franchise. The production team, helmed by Aditya Chopra and writer Vijay Krishna Acharya, is actively finalizing two female leads and an antagonist, with names from South cinema being considered for the villain’s role.
The Dhoom series, a staple of high-octane action and stylish heists, is reportedly being rebooted to cater to a contemporary audience.
After Love and War, a romantic war drama co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal and slated for a March 2026 release, Kapoor will shift gears to the epic Ramayana. Directed by Nitish Tiwari, Kapoor will portray Lord Ram in the Rs 835-crore mythological saga, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
Meanwhile, the actor’s blockbuster streak also includes the Animal trilogy. While the sequel, Animal Park, is in the works, it will follow director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next venture with Prabhas.
