Madurai City Police celebrate Pongal with traditional events and games, led by Commissioner J. Loganathan.
Madurai City Police celebrated Pongal in a grand manner at AR Police Grounds on Thursday.
Led by Commissioner of Police J. Loganathan, who was clad in traditional attire and came with his family, lit the lamp to inaugurate the celebration. The police department organised various events which included drawing of kolam and rangoli, sweet pongal preparation and games for the visitors. The Commissioner gave away prizes to the winners.
Deputy Commissioners of Police Inigo Divyan, G.S. Anitha, Rajeswari, Vanitha and ADCP Thirumalai Kumar were present.
