India Posts releases Entaro Mahanubhavulu philatelic ancillary at Thyagaraja aradhana festival, featuring postcards of musicians paying homage.
India Posts has released a philatelic ancillary titled Entaro Mahanubhavulu coinciding with the 178th Thyagaraja aradhana festival being held at Thiruvaiyaru near Thanjavur from January 14.
The philately ancillary has 23 picture postcards containing the images of musicians paying musical homage to Saint Composer Thyagaraja during the festivals held at athishtanam of Sri Thyagabrahmam on the banks of the Cauvery at Thiruvaiyaru.
It was released by T. Nirmala Devi, Postmaster General, Central Region, Tiruchi, and received by President of Sri Thyagabrahma Mahotsava Sabha and Rajya Sabha member G. K. Vasan at Thiruvaiyaru, according to an official release.
The ancillary pack will be available for sale at the temporary Post Office set up at the aradhana festival venue and at the Philatelic Bureau, Tiruchi Head Post Office. Aadhaar enrolment and updation service were also offered from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the venue by the Department of Posts, the release added.
