Vandita Pandey assumed office as the new Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police (Dindigul range) on Friday.
A 2011 batch IPS officer, Vandita Pandey was Pudukottai Superintendent of Police prior to being promoted and posted in Dindigul. She had earlier served as SP of Karur district, SP of Central Investigation Unit, Prohibition and SP of Economic Offences Wing, Chennai.
