Bollywood star Katrina Kaif on Monday visited the Maha Kumbh in Pragyaraj along with her mother-in-law Veena Kaushal.
The star met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati during the visit. Pictures from the same have gone viral on social media.
Talking to ANI, Katrina said, “I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy and the beauty and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here”
Meanwhile, the official X handle of Swami Chidanand Saraswati’s ashram, Parmath Niketan, shared pictures from the visit.
Katrina joins a long list of celebrities who have been visiting the Maha Kumbh since it began on January 13. According to reports, the actor will take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.
Earlier, Katrina’s husband and actor Vicky Kaushal visited Pragyaraj and took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam ahead of the release of his film Chhaava.
Chhaava has been having a dream of a run at the box office, and Katrina expressed her excitement on Instagram, praising Vicky for his “effortless and fluid” into Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
