Join KIMS Health's 'Run to win cancer' marathon on February 23 to raise awareness and dispel myths about cancer.
A marathon on the theme, ‘Run to win cancer’, will be conducted by KIMS Health here on February 23.
“Effective cancer treatment relies on a multimodal approach that combines radiation, medication and surgery,” Chairman and Managing Director of KIMS Health M.I. Sahadulla told reporters here on Saturday.
Significant developments in cancer treatment had occurred across all disciplines, with KIMS Health playing a major role for more than two decades through its main centre at Thiruvananthapuram and its branches including Nagercoil.
He emphasised that early detection and treatments would be highly effective for individuals affected by cancer and announced that KIMS Health, Nagercoil, would soon be a cancer centre.
The marathon set to take place at Anna Stadium in Nagercoil on February 23 aimed to create awareness of cancer and dispel common myths associated with the disease.
