Kiara Advani exits Don 3 due to pregnancy, focusing on motherhood before returning to Bollywood projects in 2026.
Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has officially stepped down from her role in the much-anticipated Don 3 following the announcement of her pregnancy. Advani, who was set to star alongside Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar’s reboot of the popular franchise, has chosen to take a break from her acting career to focus on motherhood.
The actress had been confirmed as the female lead in Don 3, slated to begin production in 2025. However, with the new phase in her personal life, Advani and the filmmakers have mutually agreed on her exit from the project. Sources close to the production reveal that the makers respect her decision and are now actively searching for a new leading lady.
Advani is currently wrapping up her last professional commitments, including Toxic and War 2, before stepping away from the industry temporarily. Fans have been quite supportive of her choice so far.
Meanwhile, Don 3 remains on track, with Akhtar confirming that filming will commence this year. Ranveer Singh takes on the iconic role, while Vikrant Massey is set to play the antagonist in the thriller.
Advani is expected to return to the big screen after her maternity break. She is rumored to be leading Shakti Shalini in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe and has also reportedly signed on for Dhoom 4, both of which are set to begin production in 2026.
