Kattappana PSC office to get a new building soon

New PSC building in Kattappana, Idukki to be inaugurated by Water Resources Minister, featuring online exam center.
The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) district centre at Kattappana in Idukki will soon get a new office building. Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine will lay the foundation stone for the new PSC building at Kattappana Municipal Conference Hall on Friday.
According to officials, the new building will be set up at Ambala Kavala, near Kattappana, on the Anavilasam-Kumily route. The State government has already allotted 20 cents of land for the construction of the building. The three-storey building will be of 13,842.5 square feet. An online exam centre will also be set up at the new building, which will be able to accommodate about 200 job aspirants.
PSC chairperson M.R. Baiju will preside over the ceremony. Idukki MP Dean Kuriakose, Commission members S. Vijayakumar Nair, Mini Zacharias, and District Collector V. Vigneshwari, among others, will attend the function.
