"America is gonna love you," "AGT" judge and fellow comic Howie Mandel once told him.
Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh, a comedian who tickled “America’s Got Talent” judges and fans in 2021 with jokes about his mother and Indian heritage, has died, according to reports. He was 39.
TMZ reported through law enforcement sources that Singh, who advanced to the semifinals of NBC’s talent competition, was in the Bay Area when he died. A toxicology report is forthcoming, the entertainment site added.
He was said to have had health issues.
Fellow comedian Jeremy Curry, whom Singh described as his “protege,” also announced his death.
“He passed away peacefully in his sleep and this is the most devastating post I’ve posted,” Curry wrote on Facebook Thursday.
