BCCI pledges 50% funding for HCA development, more matches and new stadia.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) promised Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) President A. Jagan Mohan Rao to fund 50% of the expenditure towards development programmes of the association.
This assurance came when the HCA chief, along with treasurer C.J Srinivas, met BCCI’s new secretary Devajit Saikia in Mumbai on Saturday (January 18).
“We were also assured of being allocated more matches in the 2025 season besides helping the HCA in constructing new stadia and infrastructure,” Mr. Jagan Mohan said. BCCI also promised help to promote cricket in the State’s districts.
“We also requested the BCCI to give an opportunity to someone from the HCA to be the Team India Manager in upcoming important ICC tournaments, to which the Secretary responded positively,” the HCA chief said.
