A five-day Street Food Fiesta began in Mangaluru on Saturday.
Organised by Kudla Samskritika Prathisthana, the street food festival is being held on the flanks of arterial roads in Lalbagh, Mannagudda and Lady Hill. It will go on till January 22. This is the third edition of the festival.
Dolly Chaiwala (which is the stage name of Sunil Patil) from Nagpur, who has emerged as a celebrity for his unique style of tea making and after he sold tea to Bill Gates, inaugurated the festival by making tea.
Mangaluru City South MLA D. Vedavyasa Kamath, Mayor Manoj Kumar and former Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel were present on the occasion.
