Farah Khan reveals Abhishek Bachchan's playful antics on the sets of Happy New Year
Farah Khan had to ‘chase’ Abhishek Bachchan around on the sets of her movie Happy New Year, the filmmaker revealed in a recent episode of her cooking show, Celebrity Masterchef. Abhishek Bachchan is seen in the recent feel-good drama film Be Happy. The actor, along with director Remo D’Souza, was in conversation with Khan when the topic of Bachchan’s on-set antics came up.
“When we shot Happy New Year, Abhishek was like the naughty child in the group. Everyone has come but not him. I am trying to catch him and he is running around the van and doing hide and seek!,” Khan shared in a jovial vein.
Released in 2014, Happy New Year was an ensemble heist comedy starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and others. The film was a box-office success.
Abhishek Bachchan’s recent films included I Want to Talk and Ghoomer. In Be Happy, he plays a single father helping his daughter win a dance reality show.
Abhishek’s upcoming releases are Housefull 5 and the Hindi remake of Oththa Seruppu Size 7.
