Minister Sekarbabu praises Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram for supporting folk art, honored vocalists at Pongal celebrations.
Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments P.K. Sekarbabu on Saturday praised the activities of the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram in encouraging traditional folk art of the State.
Speaking at the Pongal celebrations of the Mandram, he said Chief Minister M.K. Stalin was happy to see folk artists being provided support and encouragement. He also honoured vocalists, including T.L. Maharajan, B.V. Ramanan, Sai Vignesh, Mukesh, Dr. Sundar, Jaya Srikumar, and Anu Anand. The light music programme was conducted by musician Thayanban.
N. Ravi, Director, Kasturi & Sons Limited, Vagai Chandrasekhar, Mandram chairman, and Vijaya Thayanban, member secretary, participated in the event.
