Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Wednesday handed over prizes to the winners of various competitions held for students of homes run by the State government’s Children Welfare and Special Services Department. Over 3,400 children from 169 homes took part in the competitions. Thattapparai (Thoothukudi) Region won the overall championship. Ministers P. Geetha Jeevan and P.K. Sekarbabu and senior officials were also present.
