Condemning the dismissal of a Students’ Federation of India (SFI) office-bearer from the college, members of SFI, Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) staged a demonstration here on Friday.
The protesters said the students of Kamaraj College protested condemning the undue tuition fee hike. Even though all the students of the college protested against the increase of tuition fee, the Kamaraj College administration dismissed SFI office-bearer Nesamani from the college.
The protesters demanded the revoking of the dismissal of Mr. Nesamani and urged the Tamil Nadu Government to take-over Kamaraj College for collecting exorbitant tuition fee from the students.
