Delhi Police has detained a Class 12 student for allegedly sending bomb threats to schools in the national capital, sources said on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Around 10 educational institutes received bomb threats on Thursday (January 9, 2024), the latest in a series of such incidents in the city.
The sources said the south district police apprehended the Class 12 student, a minor.
Officials said police will address a press conference at its headquarters later in the day and share further details.
The State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) has informed the southern bench of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had obtained prior environmental clearance for sand mining from Perittivakkam lake in Thiruvallur district as part of the six-lane highway construction from Chittoor to Thatchur in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu under the Bharatmala Pariyojana project.
