Delhi Elections 2025: how have the ministers fared?
The Bharatiya Janata Party has pulled into the lead in the Delhi Assembly elections, effectively preventing the Aam Aadmi Party from forming the government in the National Capital Territory for a fourth time. Some prominent AAP candidates are looking at crushing losses, including Arvind Kejriwal, who is trailing behind BJP’s Parvesh Sahib Singh in the New Delhi constituency. Yet other have held on to their seats, albeit with reduced margins.
We take a look at how AAP members who were a part of the Council of Ministers under Mr. Kejriwal and later Ms. Atishi are faring in the race.

Incumbent Delhi Chief Minister Atishi is leading by around 3500 votes against BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri in Kalkaji.
AAP minister Saurabh Bharadwaj lost to BJP’s Shikha Roy by 3188 votes in the Greater Kailash constiuency. He was the outgoing minister in charge of Health, Social Welfare, Urban Development, Tourism, Cooperative, Irrigation and Flood Control, Industries, and Art, Culture & Language. Lost to
AAP’s Gopal Rai, outgoing minister for the Environment, Development and General Administration, has retained his Babarpur seat. He defeated BJP’s Anil Kumar Vashist by almost 19,000 votes.
Imran Hussain has defeated Kamal Bagri of the BJP by 29,823 votes in the Ballimaran constituency. He is the outgoing Minister for Food & Supply and Elections in the Delhi government.
