CM taking all measures to fulfil needs of Coimbatore: Minister

The State government has a special focus on Coimbatore and Chief Minister MK Stalin takes all measures to fulfil the needs of Coimbatore, said Minister V. Senthil Balaji said here on Friday.
Releasing the fair directory of Build Intec 2022 and Water Intec 2022, organised by Coimbatore District Small Industries Organisation (CODISSIA), the Minister said representatives of several industry associations of Coimbatore met the Chief Minister in Chennai on Friday morning and sought measures for the development of industries and Coimbatore. The Chief Minister is taking all measures to fulfil the needs of Coimbatore. The demands presented by the industry on Friday will also be looked into and required measures taken, he said. He urged the CODISSIA to consider holding an event similar to Build Intec and Water Intec in Karur too.
Raja Gopal Sunkara, Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner, said the fair will benefit the city as several products and technologies related to waste water treatment, sewage treatment, and solid waste management will help complete the projects going on in Coimbatore early.
Rajesh Doraiswamy, Joint Managing Director of Salzer Electronics, said the State government should look at steps to improve air connectivity to Coimbatore and incentivise job creation.
According to G. Rammohan, chairman of Build Intec 2022 and Water Intec 2022, the participants from different parts of the country have put up more than 350 stalls, covering almost a lakh sq.ft.
President of CODISSIA, M.V. Ramesh Babu, said the four-day event inaugurated on Friday at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex will benefit property promoters, builders, contractors, consultants, architects, and students.
