Mari Selvaraj has wrapped up shooting for sports drama ‘Bison’, starring Dhruv Vikram, Rajisha Vijayan, and Anupama Parameshwaran
The shoot of Mari Selvaraj’s film with Dhruv Vikram has been wrapped up. Titled Bison, the film also stars Rajisha Vijayan and Anupama Parameshwaran in lead roles.
The Tamil film is touted to be a sports drama. Dhruv, son of popular Tamil star Vikram, debuted with Adithya Varma (2019), a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. He later starred opposite Vikram in Mahaan, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Varmaa, the first version of the Arjun Reddy remake directed by Bala, had a direct-to-OTT release.
Shot in Tirunelveli and Chennai, Bison has Lal, Pasupathy, Kalaiyarasan, Azhagam Perumal and Hari Krishnan in prominent roles. Bison is produced by Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions, in association with Applause Entertainment.
Mari Selvaraj’s last film was Vaazhai, a film that chronicled the story of a boy’s lost childhood. The hard-hitting film starred in Nikhila Vimal, Kalaiyarasan, Ponvel M, Rahul R and Divya Duraisamy.

In Bison, Nivas K Prasanna is the music director while Ezhil Arasu K has handled the cinematography. Sakthi Thiru is the editor. The makers haven’t announced the film’s release date yet.
