Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala opens charitable OP wing at Nanjangud factory, providing free medicines to patients monthly.
Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala has begun a charitable outpatient (OP) wing at its Nanjangud factory as part of the centenary celebrations of Arya Vaidya Sala Charitable Hospital. The new OP at Nanjangud, functioning on second Sundays of every month, will give free medicines to patients.
Arya Vaidya Sala managing trustee and chief physician P. Madhavankutty Varier inaugurated the new facility. Sarbeswar Kar, principal of JSS Ayurveda College, Mysuru, was the chief guest.
Arya Vaidya Sala chief executive officer K. Harikumar welcomed the gathering. Trustees K. Muraleedharan, Sujit S. Varier, research and development head R. Arun, and Mysuru branch manager and senior medical officer K.V. Ullas spoke. Arya Vaidya Sala trustee and Nanjangud factory manager K.R. Ajay proposed a vote of thanks.
