NTR police search for missing phone of former MLA Vamsi, forming special teams to catch TDP office attack suspects.
The NTR Commissionerate police launched a search for the missing mobile phone of former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
Police picked up Mr. Vamsi from his house at Raidurgam in Hyderabad in neighbouring Telangana on Thursday (February 13, in TDP office attack case. He was produced in court in the wee hours on Friday (February 14), and was remanded in judicial custody.
However, the Patamata police could not recover the mobile phone during his arrest. “If we get Vamsi’s cell phone, we can gather more evidence in the case,” a police officer said.
Two teams conducted searches in Vamsi’s house at Hyderabad on Saturday (February 15). The NTR police in association with the Raidurgam police conducted the searches.
Meanwhile, the NTR Commissionerate police formed special teams to nab the other accused in the TDP office attack case.
