
13 penalised for drunken driving in Kurnool

Kurnool police impose penalties on 13 individuals caught drinking in public places during crackdown on alcohol consumption.
The Judicial First Class Magistrate court imposed penalty on 13 persons who were caught during driven checks and crackdown on consuming liquor at public and open places.
Kurnool police have been conducting intensified checking to control drunken driving and also on drinking at open places. In the checks, the police caught six persons and produced before the court. The court imposed ₹3,000 penalty one each of the caught person. Similarly, seven persons were caught consuming alcohol in open places and were imposed ₹1,000 each as penalty by the court.
