The water level in Papanasam dam stood at 110.70 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 400 cusecs and a discharge of 800 cusecs. The water level in Manimuthar dam stood at 99.86 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 161.62 cusecs and a discharge of 430 cusecs.
The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Saturday was (in mm): Papanasam 4, Servalar dam 12, Kalakkad 6.60, Manjolai 2, Kakkachi 4, Nalumukku 12 and Oothu 30 mm.
