Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 136.10 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 1,015 cusecs and a discharge of 1,000 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 63.91 ft. (71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,527 cusecs and a discharge of 2,169 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 8,358 mcft.
