Tina Knowles is taking aim at Kanye West after the rapper came after Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children, Rumi and Sir.
West, who now goes by Ye, posted ableist remarks about the two’s twins on X this week.
“WAIT HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN JAY Z AND BEYONCES YOUNGER KIDS,” the rapper said in a now-deleted tweet before using a slur to describe the 7-year-olds. “THEYRE RETARDED NO LIKE LITERALLY.”
Knowles seemingly responded to Ye’s rant about her grandchildren and daughter with a pointed caption and video on Instagram, the caption of which she has since edited.
“Corny joke, time! it’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil,” she said, in a screenshot captured by Page Six. “But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper.”
