The Hindu Young World quiz sees enthusiastic participation in Bengaluru

Winners of The Hindu Young World Quiz Senior category announced, with prizes distributed by State Bank of India.
Mayank G. Mattur and Hemansu V.M. from Sri Kumaran Public School emerged winners in the Senior category at The Hindu Young World Quiz which was held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall on Wednesday.
The Quiz, presented by State Bank of India, was open for school students in two categories; Junior (class 4-6) and Senior (class 7-9). More than 800 teams participated in the quiz hosted by Quiz Master V.V. Ramanan.
The team of Gautam K. and Arya R. Jannu from BNM Public School and Shreyan Chhetri and Sai Srinivas N.S. from Delhi Public School took the first and second runners-up positions, in the senior category.
Arya S.K. and Medhansh N.M. from Presidency School, Nandini Layout were the winners in the Junior category. Gian M. and Srivatsa Sundararajan from Airaa Academy were the first runners up followed by Aryesh Mukherjee and Shervesh Mohan from Sri Kumaran’s CBSE becoming the second runners up.
Pradeep Nair, Deputy General Manager (B&O), State Bank of India, distributed the prizes to the winners. UNIBIC is the Snack Partner and Naturo is the Treat Time Partner for Karnataka.
The synopsis of the play said that the play is “the story of an innocent girl, a rebellious teenager and a free adult along with a red cardinal, a woodpecker, an ostrich, and many other birds, with the intergalactic council, the karmic tribunal and the multidimensional exchange office. The play is a self-fictional true story, a multidisciplinary one-woman show, and an absurd and crude tale...”
