The Hindu World of Women (WoW) Awards 2025, a prestigious annual recognition platform, is set to take place on Friday.
Dedicated to celebrating the contributions of women across diverse domains, Justice R.N. Manjula of the Madras High Court will give away the awards that recognise visionary leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
In its fifth edition, the WoW Awards continue to honour women who have made significant strides in their respective fields, breaking barriers and setting new benchmarks. From science and technology to sports, music, entrepreneurship, and social impact, the awards aim at recognising individuals who exemplify excellence, dedication, and resilience.
The event will recognise excellence in 13 distinct categories — education, science & technology; contribution to society; achievement in surpassing disability; Health & Hygiene; sports; agriculture & rural development; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Champion; entrepreneurship; art & culture; music; GRT Generational Pride; technology; and lifetime achievement award.
