Former MLA A. S. Patil Nadahalli said that there is no threat of any political damage to the BJP due to the expulsion of Mr. Yatnal.
Former MLA A. S. Patil Nadahalli said that the BJP will not take back Basanagouda Patil Yatnal at any cost.
“Mr. Yatnal has been criticising every leader starting from B. Y. Vijayendra to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for no valid reason. He has used unparliamentary words against former CM B. S. Yediyurappa. He has been claiming that he would seek readmission if the BJP reduces the control of B. S. Yediyurappa in the State unit. That is meaningless. Mr Yediyurappa is a tallest leader of the party. He has been large-hearted and forgiven all the loose talk by Mr. Yatnal, but now, he will never be readmitted. He is akin to the character of Shishupala in the Mahabharata,” Mr. Nadahalli said in Muddebihal in Vijayapura on March 31.
“All of us had kept quiet only because he is a fellow party man and an elected leader. But then, he crossed all limits by giving abusive statements against everyone.”
Mr. Nadahalli said there is no threat of any political damage to the BJP due to the expulsion of Mr. Yatnal. “He is not a powerful leader. He has no capacity to organise a rally with one lakh people anywhere in northern Karnataka. He keeps claiming he is a Hindutva activist and a tiger. But he is a fake tiger,” he said, adding, “I appeal to the media to stop focusing on fake tigers.”

There are two instances where the government has shifted out such establishments out of the core city areas. The APMC yard, which was operating out of N.T. Pet, was shifted to Yeshwanthpur in the late 1980s, and HAL airport was shut down for passenger traffic and a new airport was built near Devanahalli.
