
Stalin unveils foundation for new projects to be implemented in temples

Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin unveils temple projects worth ₹121 crore, inaugurates 15 projects virtually, opens new SROs.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday unveiled the foundation for 25 projects that are to be implemented by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department at a total cost of ₹121 crore.
These projects are to be executed in 16 temples that are under the control of the HR&CE Department in Chengalpattu, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Erode, Kanniyakumari, Madurai, Mayiladuthurai, Namakkal, Theni, Tirunelveli, Tiruvallur, and Villupuram districts.
During an event held at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated 15 projects that have been implemented by the HR&CE Department at a total cost of ₹50 crore, an official release said.
These projects have been completed in seven temples in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruppur, Thoothukudi, Villupuram, and Virudhunagar districts.
Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments P.K. Sekarbabu, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, and senior officials were present.
At another event, the Chief Minister virtually opened two new Sub- Registrar Offices (SROs) at Kadayampatti in Salem district and Bagalur in Krishnagiri district. Minister for Registration P. Moorthy, Mr. Muruganandam, and senior officials were present.

SRI-B has established Samsung Innovation Campuses in seven other institutes, including BNM Institute of Technology, Cambridge Institute of Technology (main & north campuses), Don Bosco Institute of Technology, KLE Institute of Technology, RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) Bengaluru, as well as one in IIIT-Kurnool, and trained over 800 students with the necessary skills to secure relevant opportunities in the field of technology.
