AAP criticizes BJP over law and order in Delhi after sexual assault of 7-year-old girl, blaming Amit Shah for negligence.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday (February 19, 2025) attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the state of law and order in the city, citing the sexual assault of a seven-year-old girl.
The Class 2 student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a sanitation worker in west Delhi, said a senior officer, adding that a case has been registered under the POCSO Act.

Taking on Union Home Minister Amit Shah, to whom the Delhi police report, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, “Criminals in Delhi have become fearless, and the law and order situation has collapsed completely. We have repeatedly said that rapists and criminals in this city have no fear. How can someone commit such a horrific crime?”
He alleged that the Central government “has no interest in curbing the rise of crime in the Capital”.
