Railway Protection Force (RPF) Director-General Manoj Yadava on Sunday reviewed the functioning of the force’s zonal training centre and the 5th Battalion of the Railway Protection Special Force in Tiruchi.
During the session held at the ATC training hall in the RPF Zonal Training Centre, Mr. Yadava commended the unwavering dedication, perseverance, and commitment of the RPF personnel in ensuring the safety and security of railway passengers and property across the nation. He acknowledged their vigilance and hard work in maintaining the highest standards of protection and service.
The RPF chief later held a meeting with branch officers of the Tiruchi Railway Division during which a presentation was given on the working of the division. He interacted with the officers regarding the daily train operations and the security measures in place.
The Director-General inaugurated the Headquarter Staff RPF barrack at the RPF Zonal Training Centre and the Subordinate Officers barrack at the 5th Battalion of the Railway Protection Special Force here in the presence of the Principal Chief Security Commissioner, RPF, Southern Railway G.M. Eswara Rao, Divisional Railway Manager, Tiruchi M.S. Anbalagan and other officials.
He also inaugurated the women’s RPF barrack in the divisional complex here. Mr. Yadava praised the dedication and commitment of women personnel in the RPF and their invaluable contribution to the nation’s security, a press release from the Tiruchi Railway Division said.
