QU, Turkish Maarif Foundation sign scholarship agreement

Istanbul: Qatar University (QU) signed a cooperation protocol with the Turkish Maarif Foundation, according to which scholarships will be granted to Turkish students at the university.
The protocol was signed by President of Qatar University H E Dr. Hassan bin Rashid Al Derham and President of Turkish Maarif Foundation Prof. Birol Akgun. In a statement, Qatar University explained that, under the cooperation protocol, 30 students would be sent by the Turkish Knowledge Foundation to the university annually to complete their education (bachelor’s) in Arabic.
