Procurement centres opened to buy red gram under MSP scheme in Yadgir

Yadgir district opens procurement centres for red gram under MSP scheme, farmers urged to register within 75 days.
Procurement centres have been opened in Yadgir district to purchase red gram under the Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme for the year of 2024-25.
In a release here, Deputy Commissioner B. Susheela said that the government has appointed the Karnataka State Cooperative Marketing Federation Board as the nodal agency for the procurement process.
She said that farmers can register names in the 21 centres identified for the purpose. The period open for registration of names is 75 days, i.e., till March 20, 2025. And, the procurement process will last 90 days.
Procurement centres have been opened in the following places: KSCMFB Shahapur, PACS Hattikuni, TAPCMS Yadgir, PACS Ramsamudra, TAPCMS Shahapur, PACS Chamnal, PACS Hosakera, FOP Ganganal, PACS Doranajhalli, TAPCMS Shorapur, PACS Kembhavi 1 and 2, PACS Malagatti, FPO Naganur, TAPCMS Hunsagi, PACS Kodekal, PACS Rajan Kollur, PACS Bendebembali, PACS Hayyal (B), PACS Chepetla, FPO Gurmitkal and FPO Saidapur.
The Deputy Commissioner has suggested that farmers get their names registered and sell foodgrains within the prescribed date.
