Renowned playback singer and dubbing artiste Kalpana Raghavendar allegedly tried to kill herself at her residence in Nizampet late on Tuesday (Mah 4, 2025).
According to the police, upon being alerted by the neighbours, Kalpana was rescued from her residence in an unconscious state. She was shifted to a private hospital in Nizampet where she is undergoing treatment.
The reasons behind her resorting to alleged the extreme step remain unclear. The KPHB police booked a case and initiated investigation.
