YSRCP leaders fearless against false cases, accusing Alliance parties of framing cases, fighting for farmers and transparency in governance.
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders are not scared of any ‘false’ cases, said YSRCP Nellore district president and former Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy at a meeting with the party’s leaders and activists at the district party office in Nellore on Tuesday. He accused the members of Alliance parties of illegally framing cases against him and other leaders of YSRCP.
Alleging that the coalition government has filed eight fake cases on him, he said, “Unable to fight politically, the ruling party leaders are filing fake cases against us. I am not afraid of these cases, and I will face them bravely. All the YSRCP leaders and activists will face these fake cases without any fear. The State will be plagued by cases, arrests, attacks, and sabotage.”
Claiming that the people want YSRCP regime again, Mr. Kakani said, “Farmers in the state are suffering due to the lack of minimum support price for the paddy grown in the district. The government is betraying the farmers by colluding with middlemen and not providing a fair price to farmers. I am sure people will choose Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as the CM in the next elections.”
In another press meet, he alleged a multi-crore scam by the Alliance parties in the construction of the capital city – Amaravati. He accused the coalition government of giving 59 packages worth over ₹28,210 crore to its eight favourable companies after accepting an 8% bribe from them in the name of mobilisation advance.
He said, “The reverse tendering and judicial preview policies introduced by the previous YSRCP government have been completely removed by the coalition government, which started looting thousands of crores of rupees in the capital construction works. Giving advances on the one hand and receiving commissions from them on the other seems to be the new policy of the government.”
