Ministers distribute welfare measures worth ₹2.57 crore

Ministers distribute ₹2.57 crore in welfare measures to 1,221 beneficiaries, including housing, education, and medical assistance.
Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development C.V. Ganesan, along with Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration P. Moorthy and Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, distributed welfare measures worth ₹2.57 crore to 1,221 beneficiaries here on Saturday.
About 1,221 construction workers and unorganised workers registered under the construction workers welfare board and unorganised workers welfare board were provided with various welfare measures.
Orders for houses worth ₹1.75 crore, built under Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, were issued to 100 beneficiaries.
Further, 146 beneficiaries received marriage assistances worth ₹28.56 lakh, 842 beneficiaries got educational assistance worth ₹25.29 lakh, six got eye glasses worth ₹4,500, 102 got pension amount worth ₹1.22 lakh, 21 got natural death compensation worth ₹11 lakh, one got accident compensation worth ₹1.05 lakh and three got workplace accident compensation worth ₹15 lakh.
