Minister of Public Health meets WHO Director-General

Doha - Minister of Public Health HE Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari met on Sunday with Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) HE Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who is currently visiting the country.
The meeting reviewed aspects of cooperation between Qatar and the World Health Organization, and the cooperation between the two sides in helping the Afghan people.
In a related context, the Minister of Public Health HE Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari and HE the WHO Director-General made an inspection tour of the temporary facilities for housing and caring for the Afghan brothers, who are temporarily hosted by the State of Qatar until they reach their final destinations.
