Here’s what happens in the pods so you can skip to next week’s episodes.
This article includes spoilers for the first six episodes of the new season of “Love Is Blind.”
It’s Valentine’s Day, and — believe it or not — “Love Is Blind” premiered five years ago. Somehow, the wild Netflix experiment where couples chat in pods and get engaged before ever laying eyes on each other is still going strong with more seasons — despite lawsuits and several divorces.
On Friday, the reality series began streaming its eighth season, with new singles looking for love in Minneapolis. Five couples make it out of the pods, but the episodes don’t venture into the post-proposal trips. There are a few cast members who fall in love with multiple people in the pods, making for some light drama. But ultimately, the episodes are pretty sparse on mess, and in some cases, the love connections don’t even seem super convincing. With over six hours of pod time, it’s quite a slog to get through.
So, HuffPost staff members chatted about the first six episodes of the season to help you catch up on the couples. See our thoughts in the posts below.
