If there is a rebirth, I wish to be born as Telugu again, says CM Chandrababu Naidu in Davos

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu shares his vision for Andhra Pradesh's future with Telugu entrepreneurs and professionals in Zurich.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, during his tour to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, addressed an enthusiastic gathering of Telugu entrepreneurs and professionals at a Meet and Greet event organised by the Telugu community in Zurich on Monday. He expressed his pride in being a part of the Telugu community and shared his vision for the state’s future.

Mr. Naidu said that it was his fortune to be born into the Telugu community, which has always been a source of inspiration. “If there is a rebirth, I wish to be born as a Telugu child again. My heart and soul are dedicated to the progress of our people,”  he said. 

Commending the global achievements of the Telugus, he  emphasised their growing presence across the world. He urged the Telugu diaspora to actively engage with Andhra Pradesh’s development. “Your expertise and ideas can help us realise our vision of Swarna Andhra Pradesh by 2047. Let us work together to make Andhra Pradesh a beacon of innovation and prosperity,” he said.

Mr.  Naidu shared his roadmap for making Andhra Pradesh and the Telugu community global leaders by 2047. “India is on track to become a global economic superpower by 2047, and Telugus will play a pivotal role in this journey. Our community must leverage global opportunities while contributing to our homeland’s growth,” he pointed out.

Mr. Naidu outlined his vision to make Andhra Pradesh a hub for work-from-home opportunities and green energy. “We aim to leverage technological advancements, such as AI and green hydrogen, to create sustainable growth. Women can balance household responsibilities and contribute economically with work-from-home opportunities,” he said. He encouraged NRIs to play an active role in the State’s development.

Highlighting the importance of youth in nation-building, he  urged them to aspire for leadership roles. “Our people should not merely seek jobs but become job creators. The foundation we laid for IT and entrepreneurship has positioned Telugus as leaders globally,” he said.

He also stressed the need for inclusive growth, mentioning his initiatives to empower women through education and 33% reservation in colleges and jobs.
